Services
SIILC

Information and Referral

Unlike most things that can enter our lives, a disability does not come with
an operating manual.  SIILC serves as an information resource center to
better inform people of their choices, options, and rights.

Peer Counseling

Peer support enables people with disabilities to learn from the life
experiences and expertise of others with disabilities.  SIILC believes
"There is no need to reinvent the wheel. "

Advocacy

Promote a policy for providing self-help and self-advocacy among
individuals with significant disabilities.  To educate businesses and
government representatives on the abilities and needs of people with
disabilities.

Independent Living Skills Training

Assisting people in their efforts to learn new ways to perform daily living
functions such as:  cooking, paying bills, shopping, dressing, etc.
